Molly and Rob’s wedding day in May was the perfect blend of timeless romance, city charm, and emotional, candid moments that unfolded effortlessly from start to finish.
The day began with the couple getting ready in separate locations. My second shooter joined Rob for groom prep, while I spent the morning with Molly at the stunning The Bellevue Hotel right on Broad Street. The Bellevue’s classic architecture and soft natural light created the most elegant setting for bridal details and those quiet, in-between moments before the day fully began.
Once both parties were ready, Molly and Rob each stepped into a limo and made their way to the church where they would be married. The ceremony took place in a beautiful Catholic church, where the lighting was absolutely spectacular, soft, dramatic, and incredibly atmospheric. While Catholic ceremonies often come with strict photography guidelines, it only made us more intentional with every frame, focusing on storytelling, emotion, and anticipation.
The ceremony itself lasted about an hour and was incredibly heartfelt. You could feel how present and connected Molly and Rob were throughout the entire experience.
Afterward, we all headed across the street to a nearby park for family and couple portraits. It was the perfect pause in the day, calm, joyful, and full of natural laughter as everyone soaked in the moment. The park gave us a beautiful backdrop to capture portraits that felt relaxed and authentic before heading into the evening celebration.
From there, everyone loaded back into the limo and made their way to the reception at Moshulu. I’ve photographed at Moshulu before out on the deck, but this experience felt like a completely different world. The reception was held inside the front of the ship, glowing with candlelight and elevated by thoughtful details, including a stunning ice sculpture that immediately set the tone for the evening.
The vendors were incredible, the energy was warm and celebratory, and everything flowed beautifully. We were cutting it close toward the end of the night, but every moment felt worth fully documenting as the celebration unfolded.

Molly and Rob are truly one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever worked with. I first met them about a year ago during their engagement session, and getting to document this full circle moment with them was such an honor. One of my favorite parts of this job will always be the relationships. I love getting to know my couples, learning their story, and being trusted to preserve it in such an intentional way.
